Changes to Health Provider Online Services (HPOS)

From 1 October 2015, security controls will be strengthened in line with government security standards. HPOS users will need to update their browsers to meet the minimum requirements for HPOS.

Once the controls are in place HPOS users who do not meet the minimum browser requirements will be unable to access and use HPOS without compromising the security of data. Using the latest internet browser not only helps improve your security it ensures HPOS displays correctly.

The minimum browser requirements are:

• Internet Explorer 9
• Mozilla Firefox 30
• Google Chrome 39
• Safari 5 (Apple only)
